1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between one9x ("we", "us", "our") and the person or entity that creates an account or uses the Services ("you", "your"). By registering for an account or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Data Processing Addendum, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
one9x provides web hosting services (the "Services"). Our first product, Pages, hosts static websites: files uploaded by you are served over HTTPS on a subdomain provided by us or on a custom domain connected by you. The features and limits applicable to each plan are set out on the pricing section of this website.
We act solely as a hosting provider. We do not create, select, review or endorse the content of any website hosted on the platform, and responsibility for such content rests with the account that published it.
3. Eligibility and Account Obligations
- You must be competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Where you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
- You shall provide accurate and complete information at registration and keep it current.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API tokens. All activity carried out through your account or credentials shall be deemed to have been carried out by you.
- You shall notify us promptly at contact@one9x.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable Use

- is defamatory, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money laundering or gambling where prohibited by law;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of a message, or knowingly and intentionally communicates information that is patently false or misleading in nature;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of a cognisable offence, or prevents the investigation of an offence, or insults another nation;
- contains a software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of a computer resource, including phishing pages and malware;
- is patently false and untrue, and is written or published with the intent to mislead or harass a person for financial gain or to cause injury;
- violates any law for the time being in force in India.
You shall further not:
- host or publish pornography or adult content of any kind, whether or not lawful, including sexually explicit material and websites whose primary purpose is the distribution or promotion of such material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or to another customer's account or data, or interfere with or disrupt the provision of the Services to others;
- use the Services as a general-purpose file store, a video or download distribution network, or otherwise in a manner outside the scope of website hosting that degrades the Services for other customers;
- send unsolicited bulk communications, or host any content in support of such communications;
- resell the Services without our prior written agreement.
We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content or account, without prior notice, where the content is unlawful or presents an active risk of harm to visitors or to the platform. In other cases of non-compliance, we will ordinarily notify you and provide an opportunity to remedy the breach. Non-compliance with this Section may result in suspension or termination of access to the Services, removal of the non-compliant information, or both.
5. Content Removal and Lawful Orders
We are an intermediary within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we observe the due-diligence obligations that the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 place on intermediaries.
- Upon receipt of an order of a court of competent jurisdiction, or a notification from an appropriate government agency, that content hosted on the platform is unlawful, we shall disable access to such content within the period prescribed by law and preserve associated records as required.
- We provide information and assistance to lawfully authorised government agencies pursuant to a lawful order in writing. We do not act on informal requests.
- Any person may submit a complaint regarding content hosted on the platform to our Grievance Officer. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and disposed of within 15 days of receipt.
- Where we remove or disable access to content published by you, we will inform you of the removal and the reason for it, unless prohibited by law or by the terms of an order. If you believe the removal was made in error, you may write to the Grievance Officer.
6. Fees, Billing and Taxes
- Prices are published on this website in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance for the billing period selected. Access to paid features commences upon successful payment.
- Where we are required to charge Goods and Services Tax, it is charged at the applicable rate and shown separately on your invoice.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not receive or store your card details — see the Privacy Policy.
- If a renewal payment fails, we will retry the payment and notify you. If payment continues to fail, the account will be moved to the free tier and any usage exceeding the free tier's limits will cease to be served.
- We may revise prices. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before a revision applies to them, and may cancel before it takes effect.
Cancellation and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Your Content and Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, transmit and back up such content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Services.
You represent that you hold the rights necessary to publish the content you upload, and that your websites comply with the laws applicable to you and to your visitors, including any privacy notice your own website is required to display.
Where visitors to your website are identifiable, you are the Data Fiduciary in respect of their personal data and we act as your processor. The Data Processing Addendum constitutes the contract required by section 8(2) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applies to every account.
Subdomains provided by us (such as yoursite.one9x.app) are assigned to your
account and remain our property. They may not be sold or transferred, and upon deletion of
the site or account the subdomain reverts to us. We may reclaim a subdomain where it
infringes a trademark, impersonates a person or entity, or where required by a lawful
order; where the circumstances permit, we will notify you and allow a reasonable period to
migrate to another name. Custom domains connected by you remain entirely yours.
The platform, this website, and the one9x name and marks are and remain our property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them except as necessary to use the Services.
8. Service Availability
We endeavour to keep the Services available at all times but do not warrant uninterrupted availability. The free tier carries no availability commitment. Where a paid plan includes a service level, it is stated on the pricing section and applies only to that plan. We may carry out maintenance that briefly interrupts the Services and will, where reasonably practicable, schedule it outside peak hours.
9. Suspension and Termination
- You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law.
- Upon termination, we may delete your websites and data after a reasonable period. You are responsible for exporting any content you wish to retain before termination.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the Services. Our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the Services during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Indemnification
You shall indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, losses, damages and reasonable costs (including legal costs) arising out of or relating to content published through your account, a domain connected by you, or your breach of these Terms. We will notify you promptly of any such claim and will not settle it on your behalf without consulting you.
13. Modification of Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time as the Services and applicable law evolve. Material changes will be notified by email or through the dashboard before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Haryana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
15. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the name and contact details of our Grievance Officer are published on the Privacy Policy page. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and disposed of within 15 days of receipt.
